How can I go about starting an online music store?
I’m a website designer and I love music. I’ve always wanted to run my own music store. I am interested in doing this online. What I need to know is how to contact the companies that produce the musical instruments and accessories. Any help our knowledge would be much appreciated.
I think you just need to contact them. First contact a smaller one to work out all the kinks. Music stores are typically happy to have more distributors. The biggest issue will be where will you store the instruments, or will you have them ship them directly to the end user. You also need a business retail license I believe.

If you talk to them they’ll most likely tell you what they need for you to purchase instruments in bulk so you can resell them.
