A Fall from Grace!

A Fall from Grace!

Why Do Celebrities Fall Off The Rails?

Have you ever watched the late news and see reports of rich and famous singers and actors that have been arrested or admitted to rehab clinics? It seems the all too common fad of the 21st century for us to see these, so called stars of the world plummet back to Earth with a tremendous thud.

The worldwide audience that watches and witnesses these falls from grace has no sympathy whatsoever for the star involved. Why? Let us consider and recognize that two thirds of
the entire world’s population of seven billion is currently living below the poverty line. In addition to this world’s people not having access to the fundamental basics of survival which are shelter, food and protection many of these people live within territories of terror.

Even within the more prosperous and developed countries of the world eighty percent of their
population is held in the firm clutches of westernization and the struggle to simply pay the bills and feed themselves and their families. Is it any wonder that a global community of such impoverished and frustrated peoples looks at these stars with contempt?  I think not.

So the question is why, when it seems an individual can achieve such success with all the financial and wealthy access contacts in life still not are happy with in themselves? Why
hasn’t their individual fortune and celebrity kept them safeguarded from personal disaster? If these people cannot be happy without having to worry about the financial aspects of day to day life the majority of the world’s people then how can those that do not have their wealth be happy?

Could these stars falls from grace be caused by lack of self-control, weakness of character and choice or is it simply they do not have their inner peace? As I watch the reports of
these fallen stars I often think, like probably millions of others, that I would swap my life circumstances and problems with theirs any day of the week. To somehow have the opportunity to possess the gift of singing or acting and walk in their shoes for a day. Then I think when did lack of self-control and accountability for one’s actions become an addiction?

When a star commits adultery against their life long partner, they have a sex addiction. When a star cannot say no to taking drugs because of no self-control they have a drug
addiction. When a star has no self-control over their individual use of language and treatment to fellow humans, it seems that they are the victim. That somehow they are never to take responsibility for their own actions because of their wealth, celebrity and status that seems to place them above others.

Celebrity and all its glitz and glamour are a false status in life. It is irrelevant. Who ever said
that these people where role models? Whoever declared them worthy of the media attention that sporns their careers and fills their pockets with money to only see them behave immaturely and selfishly. Where are the people of the world that actually are making a difference to the human species? The doctors, nurses, care workers, fire fighters, ambulance offices, teaches and the list goes on and on. Why aren’t we revering these worthy people and filling their pockets with money and fame?

It seems the media and greater advertising mediums would rather show the corrupted of mind, body and spirit rather than the true angels that live and create life changing
circumstances to others. This is why people of the world salivate at the falling of another so called Hollywood star or loves to read about another celebrity in crisis. Welcome to the real world and welcome to our lives! Is the catch phrase in millions of viewer’s minds and hearts when they see or read another report of a fallen star?

In addition, we then have to listen and hear from celebrities on how they somehow relate to the real world and peoples plights. That they can put themselves in the shoes of the
billions that are oppressed, dying and diseased and know how there life must be. They also adopt children now as the new fad in Hollywood which somehow makes their misgivings seem less distasteful to the greater global audience.

I would like to get every celebrity in Hollywood and put them on an island that is controlled by a dictatorship rule. Have the island surrounded and filled with diseased and dying people. Have no food, no clean water and no utilities and services to support their day to day living. In an environment such as this then they could actually have a cause to whine and moan about. They would then surely connect to the real world and people that inhabit it with them. They would live, feel, see, hear and touch what others have to daily. Others that do not whine moan and not take responsibility for their circumstance or actions.

Until such a day arrives when our world’s media and westernized populations stop putting these so called stars on a pedestal and look at them for what they truly are then
papers, magazines will continue to sell and make them richer. Interviews, movies and shows will continue to be produced and make them richer. It is time for Hollywood and its celebrities to take a reality check with itself and themselves and wake up.  If this day
never arrives then I will continue to sit in my lounge room watching my TV on another fallen celebrity and say Hallelujah! Another one bought back to reality at last.

Maybe these celebrities should spend more time searching their inner selves, discovering who and how they tick inwardly and what would actually make their lives happier and more
meaningful for themselves than taking drugs and falling off the wagon. Inner peace is needed by all humans. It is the one constant that keeps us in balance with the greater being of what just is that surrounds and is in each of us. I hope that change will occur within these individuals one day for their own sakes as they do very little to change the circumstances of the masses that will never been given their opportunities in this life time.
