Band Parent Support

The students at the FVHS Band of Mystery are truly phenomenal students. They are extremely dedicated to their school, the program, society and music. Let us work together in building this institution and leading it to the highest level of success.

The Green & Black Band Parent Association hosts meetings which are scheduled throughout the year, join us at these meetings and aid us in supporting the Music Director and Staff to educate our children.

Volunteer Clearance

Miami-Dade County Public Schools require that volunteers have certain clearance levels in order to help with students.

There are two levels for volunteers;
Level I (L1): All volunteers with the exception of the “high security” positions, and
Level II (L2): 5 identified “High security” positions:

Certified Volunteer
Listener
Overnight Chaperone
Physical Education Assistant
Mentor

The Application Process has changed and will be posted as soon as the information becomes available.

All Volunteers must sign in when appearing on campus to volunteer as well as wear an Picture ID with Volunteer Number. There will be a sign-in sheet in the Band Office for Volunteers to sign-in.
