Mission Statement
The Felix Varela band program is an organization of dedicated students, directors, and staff who aim to achieve the highest level of musicianship through their performances. From experiences in the classroom and by taking these outstanding musicians to assesments and competitions, they learn the concept of being responsible performers and appreciate the musical arts and content across all subject areas. This extraordinary group of young performers comprise the High School Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and Winter Guard.
